Discovered in 1949 on the steppes of Mongolia in a Scythians Prince's tomb, the Pazyryk rug along with other textiles were frozen for over 2500 years.
Over the years, weavers from Pakistan and India have laid their hands on some excellent quality materials and dyes to produce a rug that's worthy of the original version. We have been looking for the best reproductions and this is probably one of the finest on the market.
